Yogyakarta- September 18th, 2023 Universitas Siber Muhammadiyah is proud to announce that collective of its esteemed faculty members, Afriansyah Tanjung, S.H., M.Kn; Farinza Tiara Indani, S.E., M.Sc; Juwita Andriani S. E. M. Ak; and Rizki Kurniawan S S.Tr. Kes. M.K.M, have been invited to participate in the International Symposium on Tobacco Harm Reduction 2023. The symposium aims to bring together experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss and explore innovative approaches to reducing the harm caused by tobacco use.
As a renowned expert in the field of tobacco harm reduction, Afriansyah Tanjung; Farinza Tiara Indani; Juwita Andriani; and Rizki Kurniawan S, have made significant contributions to the understanding and implementation of evidence-based strategies that can help individuals transition away from traditional tobacco products. With years of experience and a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding tobacco addiction, our Faculty Member’s above has been at the forefront of research and advocacy efforts aimed at promoting safer alternatives and reducing the health risks associated with smoking.
During the symposium, Afriansyah Tanjung; Farinza Tiara Indani; Juwita Andriani; and Rizki Kurniawan S will be presenting their latest research findings on tobacco harm reduction strategies, sharing insights gained from their extensive work in this area. Their presentation will delve into various aspects of harm reduction, including the use of alternative nicotine delivery systems such as e-cigarettes, heat-not-burn devices, and snus. By examining the potential benefits and risks associated with these products, our Faculty Member’s hope to contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding tobacco harm reduction and inform evidence-based policies that prioritize public health.
